I'm loving this cookbook! A nice variety of recipes that complement The Mayo Clinic Diet program. The recipes, compared to *other* diet programs are simple and the format is easy to follow (great directions!). The nutrition breakdown is complete and includes the Mayo Clinic "Pyramid" designations (making it much easier to plan meals!). The New Mayo Clinic Cookbook has been a great resource over the last several years for my husband and me, as we have tried to eat real, home-cooked meals rather than the high-fat, sodium-laden foods we used to rely on for nearly every meal. There are some great recipes if you have time to devote to them, but it is not the best choice for a busy family that needs to make dinner quickly and on a budget.

Our favorite recipe is the Jamaican BBQ Pork Tenderloin. It is easy to make, relatively healthy,

This is an awesome cookbook for those wanting to eat healthy. So far I have tried several of the recipes and everyone in my family enjoyed them. At the beginning of this cookbook is some very valuable information of the types of nutrition that make up a healthy diet, examples of meal plans are also provided. I may have to go buy another copy of this present to gift to my parents. Its definitely going to be a go to cookbook in my kitchen!
This is a book for the coffee table, not the kitchen. It has BEAUTIFUL photos, but each photo is a full page with the recipe on the facing page. As a result, there are not nearly as many recipes as one would expect of a book its size. I don't fault the recipes themselves, but I don't think there is enough there to justify the space in my kitchen.
Sure reading a cookbook could be considered cheating, but since I did read the whole thing tough.

It has great pictures with nutritional information for each recipe. It also includes a graph showing how each recipe fulfills the dietary needs.

Some of the recipes are a little too adventurous for me now, but maybe later.
My sister bought this for my dad after he was diagnosed with cancer, but the whole family loves the recipes and after trying a few at my mom's house, I liked them so much I went out and bought it too!
A lot of very different food... Nothing that really appealed to me but it was a lot of salads. I haven't actually tried anything in it yet, so I can't say that I know I don't like it.

Beautiful pictures and delicious recipes. This is an expensive hardback cookbook, but the "new food pyramid" information and recipes are all excellent. A definite keeper.
i didn't really crave anything in this book even though the pictures are beautiful. But i would recommend it because it's very pretty and healthy :).
I bought this from the used bookstore because of all the beautiful pictures. I found a few things in it to make and I expect to find more.
I love this!

I wish they gave more menus, but it's simple and beautifully illustrated and lots of great health info.

Many of these recipes are really delicious!
