All i want is everything by Cecliy von Ziegesar is a good book. I Recomend this book to people who like gossip book and also teenagers. In this book there is a girl named serena. She has her own advice website. On this website she talks to people and they don't know who she is. This website is a secret thing. It is for people who need advice on their peoblems. Serena is the type of girl that likes to hangout with her friends and get into all the gossip that is going around.

Pretty much every sentence goes something like this: "Blair put on her Gucci dress, checked her Nokia cell phone for a text message, and then went shopping at Prada, with her Hermes bag tucked under the arm and a Merit Light cigarette in the other hand." I felt like I was reading an advertisement campaign, one in which everyone smokes and has one dimensional personalities. Which may, actually, be fairly representative of life on the Upper East Side. But it does not make for a very co...more

Okay, this was the stupidest book ever. Let me explain first why I read it.

On Glenn Beck's radio show, he was talking about some awful things put in the ads for a show on the WB called "Gossip Girl". I had vaguely heard of the show, but didn't know a darn thing about it. I was walking through the library, and the cover of this book called "Gossip Girl" caught my eye (hard not to, as it has two girls' boobs in bikinis on the front) and I thought, "Hey! Is this...more

This is another one of the funnier books in the Gossip Girl series. I especially enjoyed the inevitable disintegration of Jenny and Nate's relationship, and Dan writing Vanessa the "Sluts" poem was great. (This is another one of the plots they incorporated into the show; Vanessa gets Dan published in The New Yorker during "Roman Holiday," only instead of "Sluts" it's a short story about Serena.)

I also enjoyed Aaron's cute, unrequited crush on Blair and t...more

Drama, drama, and more drama. All I Want is Everything is a book by Cecily V, and its part of the series Gossip Girl . This series has eleven books and they all are about two girls, Blair and Serena and their life. In this book the main characters are Blair, Serena, Nate, Jenny, Flow, and Myles.

At the beginning of this book Blair and Serena just got re-united from a fight, and Blair and Nate just broke up. They are all seniors in highschool and are very busy with college applicati...more

I was curious about these books because I saw lots of students reading these. I decided to pick on up to read it and see what the big deal was. In the first 70 pages I read about blow jobs, sex, and drugs. I noticed that unlike most teenage books, there were no consequences for these actions. The students were spoiled and rich and were able to do whatever they wanted with whoever they wanted. One of the main character is none for her loose behavior and yet she is very popular.

Or All I Want Is Everythiong, if you go by the spine. Tsk, Bloomsbury. That kind of slovenly proofing will not help Blair Waldorf get into Yale.

This wasn't my favourite from the series - I rather felt it dragged in places, and there are points where von Ziegesar starts repeating herself a little bit too much (did we need to be told that the mahogany table also had mahogany legs? I mean, I think I could've probably worked that one out for myself...), and Serena Van Der Woodsen skirt...more

I like this book because it is the third book of Gossip girl series, so i kind of have some background information. This book is talking about how Serena and Blair become best friend again and the relationships that are going on with Dan, Venessa, Nate, Jenny and many other people. At the end, neither Jenny nor Blair trust Nate anymore. Dan was still with Venessa. These people some are older than me, some are the same age, like Jenny. I believe that these things that are happening in their ...more

Not as great as the first two. I found this one to be a bit more over the top than the other ones. Still it was a really good and light read for a post-exam period.

The characters in this book have their ups and downs. Basically, the first book made me hate them. Then as I read on my feelings towards them shifted back and forth. The moment one of them did something semi-decent they would counter-act it by doing something dumb. That was annoying. Basically the story follows the clique of teens again and just further explores their connections with one another. What a tangled web they weave!

quotes from this book

"She closed Dan's door and walked down the hall to her room. He makes a good boyfriend, she repeated to herself. What the hell was that suppose to mean? She didn't just want a good boyfriend. She wanted that thing Gustav Klimt had captured so perfectly in The Kiss. That radiant, electric, hold-me-tight-so-I don't-fall-from-up-here-in-the-sky feeling of being in love. Well, don't we all, sweetie?" More quotes...
