I loved controls in school but did not care for this book when I first read it. In retrospect though, I do think it is a decent book and reference it occasionally in previous jobs.

It did have good coverage of mechanical type controls which I think is becoming a lost art. Today many engineers resort to microcontrollers to implement their control logic.
