Keluarga Malory memang gak ada dua nya...
Bikin ngakak mulu..

Nvl ini giliran putra bungsu keluarga Anderson, Boyd yg jd hero.
Yup, dia kakak Georgie, adik ipar James Malory.
Dan tentu saja, dia adik Warren yg menikah dgn Amy Malory-putri bungsu Edward Malory.
.

Boyd satu2nya putra keluarga Anderson yg memiliki kapal tp tidak menjadi kapten kapalnya sendiri.
Dia punya alesan nya tentu saja-yg gw, Katey, James n Tony anggap lucu.. ROTFL!
Skrg umur Boyd 34 taon, dan dia mulai brpikir ttg pernikahan, pinda...more

Well, I finished the book last night and I still hold my belief that Johanna Lindsey's writing is not as good as it has been in the past. The story seemed rushed and the romance between the two characters was pushed instead of being allowed to develop on its own. I was really hoping this book would demonstrate the type of writing that Lindsey is well known for from her previous novels, but that wasn't the case. I hate to say this, but if this is an example of what Lindsey is has become, I would...more

After learning that Johanna Lindsey continued the Malory series in Captive of My Desire, I put them on my to-read list. I’ve finally gotten around to reading them and I have to say I’m a little disappointed.

As with my review for Captive of My Desire, this book fell a little flat for me. I know that Lindsey has described the Anderson brothers as “hotheads”, but in these books they’re not just hotheads, they’re arrogant to the point of stupid.

In my opinion, I enjoyed this book a little better than...more

I liked it but it wasn’t as good as some of the author’s other works.

There was no developing of a relationship between Boyd and Katey. He falls in love with her at first sight. She puts up a wall saying she is married so he’ll stay away from her, which he tries to do. Later, due to mistaken circumstances, he thinks she is a kidnapper and treats her harshly. She gets mad and doesn’t forgive him. For the rest of the book, she is either mad at him or running away from him for different reasons. I w...more

For the folks who've been reading the Malory family novels, this must be one of the last installments, the family's running out of marriageable members. The main thing that stuck with me as I read this iteration was that James and Anthony are serious jerks. This wasn't news. But it was all over this book, to the point that it detracted from my trying to enjoy the story as it unfolded... even with its implausibilities. (I agree with a previous reviewer that a young woman, even an independently we...more

The Mallory series ranks up there as one of my faves, but I have to admit that this one didn't really do it for me (furthermore, I barely remember the last one, which is a sure sign I need to go back and read the whole series again).

Boyd Anderson first meets Katey Tyler on his ship as he takes her to England where she's hoping to see more of the world and reconnect with the family who disowned her mother many years ago. Katey has a talent for telling tales, and so she tells him she's married to...more

About the Series:
This is your typical HR series. Wealthy & powerful English nobility at its finest; but this is not your typical family. Meet the Malorys. A beautiful, strong, determined, humorous & overall very enjoyable family. Beautiful people finding beautiful soul-mates sometimes quite begrudgingly. This family is full of stubborn & driven people that are lovely & hilarious. The men are sexy, strong, rake type alpha males; who are fun, carefree, witty & quite determined...more

I like Linsey's old writing style much better. it seemed to me that this book didn't have the passion, humor, or danger that previous Mallory novels had. It felt like I was reading a book written to satisfy a publisher and not to entertain the reader.

Buku ke9 seri Malory-Anderson Family

Very funny, sweet, and the usual Malory drama.

Boyd decides he is ready to settle down and what does he see next but the most beautiful girl he has laid eyes on in awhile. And what are some of the first words out of her mouth ..."I'm married." Well he had just better forget about her, problem is he can't.
Katey decides it is time to tour the world. She has no family left in America and decides there is nothing holding her there. She decides she will even stop in England to try to see her mother's...more

I really don't like this one. It might be one of my least favorite Malory's book. I felt that rather focusing on Boyd and Katey, the book was more about Katey being Anthony's daughter. And it felt a bit forced... like suddenly "Oh we ran out on Malory, let's make her an illegitimate daughter". On that note, I've never liked Anthony in the first place nor his story but by the sudden revelation that he had been in love prior to Roslynn it kind of debase further my image of Anthony (an...more

Johanna Lindsey is one of my favourite authors and with reason. This was my first book from her series Malory family and I just loved it to the core. Everything was so well balanced.Besides the romantic plot I loved the family bonding , the affection ,and the potrayal of the protagonists as two very individual and interesting characters. Lindsey never overdoes the romantic element keeping it just right for those who love soft romances.I am very keen to read the other books in the series.

This is a pretty good adventure/romance with lots of surprises. The silly leading lady won't face her own feelings at all! Instead, she chooses to be mad at her leading man during the entire book! Then in the last two minutes she finally realizes she has to quit playing her silly and manipulative games.

I was going to give it four stars, but on second thought, she is too immature and she makes stupid decisions about her own life. Plus, she makes up stories (lies) and for the first half of the bo...more

I wasn't sure I would like this book, but found it was a Malory book and tried it anyway. It is one of my favorite about the Malory Family. It is about a girl named Katey Tyler and how she ends up saving the life of a seven year old named Judy Malory. Judy is the daughter of Anthony and Roslyn Malory. The book is also about Boyd Anderson who falls in love with Katey, but through strange twists in the story finds she is not interested in a relationship with him. The story is fast moving and aroun...more

Couldn't resist picking up the next in the Malory series went I saw it in a shop the other day. This improved a bit as it went along, but the beginning was quite irritating, and on the whole I found it disappointing. In fact the number of exclamation points used reminded me of Cheryl Holt's poorer efforts. Boyd's love at first sight which the heroine considers most likely lust at first sight doesn't convince the reader there's anything potentially lasting there. I have generally enjoyed the Malo...more

The suspense and passion really grabbed me in this novel where the charming Malory family continue their adventures with a shocking twist. With every chapter that passes, you can't help but get frustrated at how nothing seems to be going right. You as a reader can already predict what is going to happen, or what would be found as the plot progresses, but it takes a while for everything to set into place. With this style of writing present in this storyline, it produces a strong suspense that for...more

This book was cute. I agree that the earlier Malory novels are a lot better than the later ones, but I think this one was done a lot better than Captive of My Desires. (view spoiler)[ I always thought that Anthony and his family haven't had a big role to play since the beginning, and I was glad to see that his family played a big part in this one. Katie was slightly whine-y, but her and Boyd's characterization were sound. It was a bit lackluster, but it was definitely better than its predecessor...more

I've been reading The Malory Family series since a co-worker and fellow avid reader recommended them to me years ago. We often share books and she once outed me in staff meeting - about reading romance novels. A few weeks ago while she was on a marketing business trip she picked up two Malory books neither of us knew had been released. After she finished she passed them on to me and I gobbled them up because I love Anth...more

No Choice But Seduction was such a good book. Growing up in a small, boring town Katey became a woman with a big imagination who tended to exaggerate her tales in order to make her stories more exciting. After her mother died she decided to travel around the world and experience a big adventure. She thought that by traveling the world she would live a more exciting life. She didn’t know that her journey would end up being her biggest adventure yet. She wins the eyes of Boyd Anderson who tries ov...more

this book honestly could not be finished by me. The moment they annouced the big plot twist i put the book down literally and picked up Julia Quinn. Lindsey's writing has gotten so bad, unbelievable to the point of desperate. Others might have enjoyed this read but honestly it was so cut and confusing. It needed one damn focus and it felt like she just threw the world tour in there because all Andersons need to be on a boat and in water at some point in the story. That part was completely unnecc...more

This book was way better than the last and 8th Malory book Captive of Desire, which I could barely finish. It was more enjoyable as I had the audio CDs to go along with reading it. This story was more interesting, and less focus on the sea and ships. It was wierd to hear the voice of James and Tony Malory attempted by a female audio reader--not what I expected. James especially was as irritating as ever with his focus on fighting.
There was plenty of twists and turns and it made for an entertaini...more

I felt that the book took too long at times to get to the point of certain situations. I did like the mystery between Katey and the Malorys but Katey kind of bothered me. I kept wanting to smack her at times because she couldn't decide on whether she wanted to tell Boyd the truth or not. I thought there would be a bit more romance and more courting but it was filled with more mystery. The plot was good and the descriptions were good as well.

Johanna Helen Howard was born on March 10, 1952 in Germany, where her father, Edwin Dennis Howard, a soldier in the U.S. Army was stationed. The family moved about a great deal when she was young. Her father always dreamed of retiring to Hawaii, and after he passed away in 1964 Johanna and her mother settled there to honor him.

In 1970, when she was still in school, she married Ralph Lindsey, becom...more
