I'll be seeing you by Beverly Bird was definitely more enjoyable than the previous book It had to be you.

Kate is Shawna's roommate. She is a little too anal and meticulous and uptight. She loves to cook and caters dinners when a man is murdered and she is plunged into a crazy situation related to the mob and gets herself police protection and Belle, the angel dog from the previous book. Kate likes getting her own way and is stubborn and initially it is irritating.
