A wee collection of 12 Burns poems & with each one a contemporary poet's retort/reply/response. Mainly aimed at junior secondary school kids but seemed adult. Great for a Burns night.
I've already recited the Seamus Heaney 'A Birl for Burns' at last year's Burn nicht. It's great.
Jackie Kay does a lovely poem called 'Fiere' about the love in Friendship & Matthew Fitt does a comedy take on 'Red Red Rose' where his lass, Rose, isnae that impressed wi aw the big gushy burns words!!
