Whether eaten plain, out of hand, it can be used to liven up any recipe. If youre among bacons multitudinous fans, youll find many appealing recipes in this book ...more

breakfast themed story with surprise ending-- recommend for slightly older kids!
Barb Middleton
Bacon is well-liked by his friends but when he becomes celebrity he ignores them. Kids love the twist at the end. The French toast is stereotyped as the self-important snob. There's no resolution between friends and the book shows that thinking too much of yourself can have unexpected consequences. Fun read aloud.

Overall clever, a bit silly, and appears to be a lead-up to some sort of "remember the little people who got you there" parable, until it isn't. Maybe it's about breakfast meat karma. Not sure, but until then it's just a silly book.

Cute story about an inanimate piece of bacon and how everyone adulates it. And this bacon has feelings and come to a final end. Fun diner pictures.

This book is hilarious and the illustrations are a perfect style to fit. It also has a lesson about popularity.

I am IN LOVE with this book. Surprising and hilarious. Without a sappy "moral of our story" ending.
