The Everything Fairy Tales book is a collection of fairy tales intended for nursery and primary aged children. This book has 100 stories some of which I am familiar with others I am not like East of the Sun West of the Moon, the Tiger, the Brahman, and the Jackal, and the Story of the Greek King and the Physician Douban. I can't say this was my favorite collection of all time (True Stories of the Brothers Grimm tops them all) but not bad for kids. Mine really enjoyed the tales, and also agreed with me that some of the stories were downright weird.

Recommends it for: Families with elementary age children as a bedtime ritual
My husband and I take turns reading this to our boys at bedtime in the dark under a flashlight. Delightful, imaginative (sometimes twisted) tales that leave our kids always wanting more.
