Because You are My Baby is a book that incorporates an amazing writing technique, with amazing illustrations. The mother in this story tells her child of the various things she will do for him in different scenarios. With amazing watercolor illustration, Sherry North portrays a mother who is telling her son how much she loves him with words and images. fun book to read along with the runaway bunny
This is a fun book for parents and kids to share. All of the things that a mother would do for her baby (sing hit songs as a rock star, bring the baby precious gems as a geologist, drive a buggy on the moon as an astronaut, throw a touchdown as the quarterback, etc.) make for a whimsical story. The illustrations are lovely although somewhat muted (perhaps not the most visually appealing for a younger crowd). Fun!
