An old book that gave a glimpse of Anne's life and few others'. They are just a group of ordinary people that eat, sleep, talk, read love and hate like all others. They have children, parents, grandparents, relatives and friends as you do. Yet they were made victims in one of the biggest genocide in human history, the hell beyond the measurement of words. This book provided some history to help understand Anne's life and experiences. It finishes her story where her diary ends - sad to write but crucial in knowing how her life ended. Although, Anne's life will hopefully never end. As long as people continue to read her diary, her life and the events of that time will continue to exist.

Great old book...features interviews with people who knew Anne. This was a great first edition find at Franklin's Landmark Booksellers. Loved it.
Details behind the story told in the diary. May have been superseded but more recent publications and research but very informative.
Really good. I thought I knew almost everything about Anne Frank and still found a lot of stuff I didn't know about her
Was trying to locate the actual diary...this gave a historic review of Anne's life with input from those who knew her.
