But then Eva Mercer got pregnant, shot by a psycho, and kicked out of the only home she knew. Now she’s broke, unemployed, and has to start anew with a newborn to raise. ...more

This book… I wasn’t expecting for this book to effect me the way it did. I don’t know if it was the characters, the subject matter or what, but I felt so much while reading this one. Much more than I expected. I love to feel when I read. To be moved, to laugh, to cry, to experience a book like that- there is nothing better. And this story gave me all those feelings I seek out as a reader and more.

From the moment I met Patrick ‘Pick’ Ryan in To Professor, With Love I knew I would be completely in love with him and his story. How could I not fall for tatted, piereced man with heart of pure gold? But more than that, I have never imagined he would be so beautiful, caring, gentle, giving, good man. Pick

This is my first book from Linda Kage, and I’m sad to say it wasn’t really a winner for me. I adored the hero of this book though, and I do think he’s a good enough of a reason to read this book, but because everything else – from the convoluted, overdramatic plot to the romantic connection I didn’t really feel or get – didn’t work for me I honestly can’t bring myself to rate this book even 3 stars. For me, this is one of the books where it starts off REALLY good, but by the time I got

After a rough past, Eva finds herself pregnant and alone. But when everything seems darker help comes in the most surprising way: in the form of a tattooed bad boy, with a bad past and a future that he believes being connected to Eva.
Eva and Pick are exactly what each other needs, they just have to learn how to see it.

Wow, what a nice surprise this book was. I know I’m way behind in this series, but I intent to keep up with them because these books keep getting better

You don't even know what your mere presence does to me. You're my sanity.

If you've read To Professor, with Love then just like me you've been dying to get your hands on Pick's book ever since. I'm a huge fan of Linda Kage's writing and this book further proves why. While some may not like the particular twist that was added here, I absolutely adored it. It spoke to a hopeless romantic part of me that I never even knew I had.

At 14, Pick is given a glimpse into the future. A future filled with love and happiness, a future better than he ever thought possible. He spends the next 10 years striving to find that future. But when things start falling into place, it isn't quite the way he had imagined. When he finds the woman he has been waiting for, he is overwhelmed with other responsibilities and she is 6 months pregnant.

I think that the third book of the "Forbidden men" series was even better than the previous two, which where very good also!!!
But this one was more sensitive, more tender, more emotional...

I just can't stop reading about those guys *girls and boys*... I just love them fiercely!!!

Wow, Patrick 'Pick' Ryan is an amazing hero that captures the heart of the readers. He’s the type of man that you actually wish was a real person. Now, whenever I look at a tattooed, pierced man I’ll be wondering if he is someone's hero like Pick was to Eva.

I love the cover of this book. The red shirt pops (pun intended). Once I saw the baby belly I knew I needed to find out why this girl needed a hero. Yes, I pick books because of their covers.

I loved Pick, he was the loving caring family man. Eva was also a great feisty character. And the group of friends were fun. But I felt like all the non stop drama overshadowed the romance and it failed to deliver me that hearts and butterflies feeling. Although I didnt love it I still liked it.

I was recommended Be My Hero because of my thing for single moms. It’s very rare I read a single mom read and haven’t loved and let’s just say, I’m pretty much on track.

Be My Hero is a great book. It has all the elements of a dramatic read I am looking for, with character development, drama, damsel in distress, alpha male and unique storyline.

Pick was 14-years-old when he got a glimpse of his future, which included Tinker Bell, his true love . Since then he is always trying to be the good guy even if that means marrying somebody he doesn't love just to help out.

Ahhh and here I am again, back in one of my most favorite worlds from 2015. I won’t say it wasn’t a shock when I picked this series up, knowing it was cheesy as hell, and immediately fell for not only the forbidden men it touts…but for the wonderful dynamics each and every character share together. In the first book, my feelings for the heroine of this book, Eva, were mostly negative. And at first, I didn't want to read this one. But I am glad that I read it because here I understood why Eva was the way she was. What a mind-blowing prologue it was. I started to feel sorry for the girl I disliked.

Eva Mercer was self-absorbed, reckless and all sorts of broken. Now she's simply nineteen and pregnant, trying to become the mother to the baby she never thought she'd want growing inside her, trying to erase the the past of her abusive father, trying to be a better person. She knows one thing, men are never going to be the white knights, they are always going to let you down - always be the ones that destroy you. But that all begins to change when she starts to notice that Mas

I just love this series, Linda Kage writes the sweetest men. This, the third book is told in the same timeline as Professor, With Love and just after Price of a Kiss. It's recommended that you read the 2 preceding books as it's not really a stand alone, you'd get confused otherwise.

The prologue starts with a young Pick getting a premonition that a 'witch' shows him, she channels glimpses - he see's his future and it's a happy one, one that an unwanted Foster kid never imagined he'd have. Now, s

This is one of those times that I really wished goodreads had a half a star rating system. I really liked this story, honestly I did but I just felt like it missed that 5 star mark for me. It was just so dramatic at times that it made me want to roll my eyes. Then there was the fact that Eva was such a spoiled brat at the beginning, but I did really appreciated her growth throughout the story. Love, love, love this book!

I have loved the previous two books in Linda Kage’s Forbidden Men series, and with this third installment, it’s very definitely becoming a favourite! I adored this book, and read it in one sitting, unable to put it down as I squeed and swooned my way through Pick and Eva’s story. It has a different set up – a little bit corny with a touch of fantasy about it, maybe, but it’s so beautifully done, I lapped it up!

Be My Hero by Linda Kage.

I was very lucky to receive Be My Hero from one of my favourite authors before it got released. So lucky in fact that I cried my bloody eyes out. My favourite genre of books are teacher/student affairs, there’s just something about forbidden love. So after coming across one of Linda’s books To Professor, with Love on Goodreads I knew I just had to read it and I was absolutely blown away. The unpredictable story line and her writing had me reading it on just 6 hours. Th

This was AH-MAZING!! I think this book is my favorite out of the whole series.

Patrick Jason Ryan *sigh

He is super perfect! When he was younger he got a little vision of his future. Because of this vision he works hard for the relationship he wants with Eva.

This story had a lot to do about family, and it was beautiful!! Linda Kage exceeded my expectation of how this book was going to be.

really did not want this book to end. I wanted to read more about Eva and Pick.
