I can't say enough about these characters. Colton Lawe is just "to die for"! With lethal good looks and a high regard for the relationships of his friends and family, Colton is everything I could ever ask for in a hero. He's tall, gorgeous and just all around yummy. Kendra's character was very intriguing and anything but typical. She's rich but finds that money alone can not make her happy, she needs to contribute to society in some way. She is fiercely loyal of her little brother Noah. She's ...more

TRUST IN THE LAWE by Stacey Joy Netzel is a spicy contemporary romance with just the right touch of suspense to heighten both the story tension and the tension between the characters. Colton Lawe and Kendra Zellner have secrets, and those secrets drive the plot and the romantic push-pull between the characters. There is plenty of sizzle between these appealing leads, and the book has great touches of humor, mostly provided by what feels like authentic family interplay. Not everyone can write ...more

Trust in the Lawe has so many twists and turns I couldn't help but keep the pages turning, and I read it in one setting. Kendra had such deep-seated distrusts that I kept wondering how the author would cope with them. She did an excellent job. Colton's guilt issues are feelings that we all go through at times, so were easy to relate to. The villain in this story met an unusual end. I wasn't prepared for it at all.

This is another long story by author, Stacey Joy Netzel. This rising star is clearl
Judy & Marianne from Long and Short Reviews
Early one morning, Colton Lawe rushes out of the house in nothing but a towel to prevent Kendra Zelner from stealing his car. She doesn’t end up with his car, but she gets his wallet and an eyeful when he loses his towel. I think this qualifies as a “you know it’s a bad day when” moment for both of them. And it only gets worse when Colton shows up at work to find Kendra there claiming to be his boss’s newly discovered half-sister.

Ms. Netzel does a great job of making both Kendra and Colton like

Lena's Review

Kendra Zelner is on the run not just her but for safety and for the care of her little brother. Her half-brother, Robert Zelner, will do anything he can to make sure they both die. She didn’t mean it to happen but stealing was the only key to her survival. Kendra expected a lot of things but never thought her long-lost brother would welcome her with open arms. Meeting him after all the struggling she done so far is like peace for her. Not only does she feel at peace but her little

Loved this book. I really enjoyed the various relationship building that took place in this book. The main one is between Colton and Kendra and is full of chemistry. Kendra has a younger brother, Noah and knows that she is a half sister to Joel. Due to the connection with Joel there are also relationships developed with Brittany and her/Joel's kids. The fast bond between Noah and the kids was touching. This book has more humor than the previous book just due to the family interactions.

This is one of those books that I like more as a whole than its individual parts. I started reading and couldn't stop until I'd finished at almost four in the morning. A lot of the conflict could have been resolved if either Colton or Kendra had chosen to be honest for a change. Instead, it was one misunderstanding after another, because they were both too stubborn to show vulnerability. I didn't care for Kendra at the start, either, as she's a self-centered (with the exception of Noah, her 8 ...more

This book started off good but then it went downhill. The heroine would keep on lying and lying about everything and though at the start of the book it was okay but later it got on my nerves. She finally told the truth at 70% mark of the book. She said she was protecting herself but I found her to be selfish. She is scared for herself but shouldnt her family have the right to know the truth so they can protect themselves? The whole book was full of misunderstandings between the hero and

Great edition to the series. You can't judge a book by it's cover or a person by what they do as Kendra and COlton find out. The story starts out with Kendra stealing a wallet while getting interrupted in the process of stealing a car to keep she and her young brother safe. Colton is the one who gets robbed and fate has him working at her half-brother's ranch where she seeks refuge. They are thrown together in work and in their private lives but learn to respect each other and understand why the ...more

A solid read. It started with promise and chugged along at a fair old pace. However, my one complaint was that the whole not trusting anyone on the part of the female lead got a little tired. I really wanted to like her as she clearly had some very admirable qualities, but at times I did rather feel like slapping some sense into her! Having said that, I'm enjoying these books so will definitely seek out more from this author.
Kendra Zelner will do anything to protect herself and her younger brother, pushing away her pride in order to do things that she never imagined in order to keep them safe at all costs. While attempting to borrow a car, Colton Jay Lawe catches her in the act chasing after her only to find her later on at the ranch where he works.

I really enjoyed this book. Kendra and Colton got off to a rough start, but Kendra was strong-willed and wouldn't back down from Colton's challenges. Colton was protective of his friends and watched Kendra. This was a great story and I enjoyed getting to know their families.

Loved the interactions of Colton and Kendra. The antics of the boys was funny especially the hair color. The story kept me hooked to the book and found it hard to put it down. Great story. Thanks Stacey Joy.
