There are several things about this book to like and enjoy. It is brief, which I appreciate! It is written in an informative and interesting style. It addresses some major concerns of church leaders (and members). Good basic book with limited new information or ideas if you have been studying church health and development. If you are looking for a good starting point this is good.

Maybe the most valuable thing in the book is near the end when it outlines the importance of the little steps in making change and how important that is.

Suggested change of church programs

The book addressed change as a requirement. Church is not necessary about numbers in attendance. God's true church is all about Jesus, sadly I found .that to be lacking in the book.

It's inevitable.

Thought-provoking, real life perspective that is no cure-all but gets to the heart of the problem. Is the church important and if so why have we not changed to reach others who need the Gospel we offer?
