I didn't read this whole book, I just skimmed parts of it because it was geared toward a little older kids than 20-month-olds. I'll have to go back and read it again in a year or so. One of the things I liked about it is that it was sensible. I liked the idea of helping children understand consequences for their actions, rather than punishing them. Also, I liked the suggestions for compromising and collaborating with your child, so they don't feel so powerless. Anyway, I will read the whole thin ...more

I never got into this book. Maybe it was my fault....never had time, it was due back at the library, etc., etc. However, it didn't get my attention enough to rerequest it.
