Skye Taylor releases some serious talent in this light, summer read. Who wouldn't want to be Zoe, meet Jake, be a Cameron? Falling for Zoe is solid in its storytelling and character development, and I can see readers new to Skye Taylor falling for her and her abilities to write a satisfying romance with a feel-good ending. Very nice job.

***ARC from NetGalley in Exchange for an honest review***

Jake is the good (hot) handy-man type guy we all want to live next to (And yes, ogle) . Nice, helpful, loving, lovable. Zoe and Jake start out as good neighbors. He helps her with her fixer-upper, she helps with his chaotic family. The falling is gradual and mired in the day-to-day. The characters and situations are totally relatable and written very engagingly. This was a one-sitting read for me. The only nitpick I have is that while yes,

I got so entranced by this story I had to dump everything to finish it. Beautiful and funny, with characters you root for. I loved the family dynamics and the humor, and the way handicaps were portrayed, with so much warmth and acceptance. Despite the fact that I prefer tighter point-of-view, it didn't in any way detract me from enjoying this book greatly. I'd recommend it without hesitation, and will certainly read the rest of the series.

Zoe Callahan was the oldest in the family and had pretty much raised her younger siblings alone after her mom dies, her father was always working. Now it looked as though she would be raising daughter the same way because her ex-boyfriend didn't want anything to do with her or the baby. Moving out on her own, going against her father's wishes of keeping the baby and using her own money to buy a house was scary but at least her new neighbor seemed really nice not to mention easy on the eye

love this book...and after being dumped with no reason and feeling like everything in the past was pure list, Jake thought that love was not real. until zoe moved in he had no problem with it being just him and his girls but the moment zoe moved next door electricity flew between the two and with nightmares from the past and her being pregnant with another man's baby things were said and don't that was hurtful and loving. this book brought tears to my eyes and a few laughs I totally recommend ...more

I have to say Skye Taylor was great in this book. I loved the whole temptation between neighbors and trying so hard to be just neighbor’s vibe. Jake was a goner right from the start when Zoe first moved in. These two were perfect for each other and exactly what they need. One is starting over in life for the first time and the other is trying to stay in control considering chaos is knocking on his door. Skye Taylor definitely has a way in romance and lik

Falling for Zoe is a delightful and refreshing read that is perfect as your falling into summer, falling into bed, or falling into your dreams. You'll simply fall in love with Jake and Zoe. It's so wonderful to find out that chivalry isn't dead and there are still a few good men out there. Jake is all you could want in a hero and Zoe is adorable. You're sure to enjoy Skye Taylor and all that is on the horizon for this talented writer.

Falling for Zoe has all the elements of a good romance. It's the story of two people who desperately need to be loved for themselves. We've got falling down historical homes, a pregnant woman with no husband in sight, and a construction worker/volunteer firefighter with three daughters and a mother-in-law with Alzheimer's. Get ready to laugh and cry with this one!

This book brings you a story about Jake and Zoe, who fall in love slowly but fully. It takes you through the up and downs of the relationship, of them each conquering their fears. It shows you how each of them have to grow separately before they can grow together. Its a truly inspiring story and instills hope. For my full review check out:

A cross between romance and women's fiction, Falling For Zoe will not disappoint readers of either genre. Jake and Zoe's story is unique with a few twists that keep it interesting. I thoroughly enjoyed this book.

You totally see it all coming from miles away, and some of the conversations aren't all that logical (rather they force the plot along) but it wasn't half bad for a romance, really.
