Ikhda, by Ikhda
Characters and landscapes leap off every page and the poems pulse with a visceral femininity and humanity as Maharsi glories in the possibilities of language and life. Reading this book is like being splashed with freezing water and a shower of popping candy and wild roses – surprising, refreshing, delightful and bewildering, and something you won’t forget in a hurry.

Another sweet little collection from The Emma Press. I battled to connect with these poems, however - maybe they're just not for me. But I loved "Analogy" as a blessing for a child:
I hope the cells in your body
can mingle well with all the things around you
I hope your thinking
is not limited by east, west, northwest,
southwest, south, and north
