I was immediately drawn into the author's story, and I wanted to know more. In fact, I read the book in two days. What makes it such a compelling read is its stark honesty. The reader here is not just an observer. It's as if he has been given access to the author's private diaries, where Vetro documented what was for him a gripping and unfathomable series of events.
