Terry Reece writes very entertainingly about what it was like to fly in the early 'bush' days of Alaskan aviation and during the oil pipeline construction. A compelling book that chronicles much of the history of Interior Airways, which became Alaska Int'l Air, which became Markair, which became defunct. He also writes about overseas escapades. I've had the privilege of flying with Captain Reece as a crew-member on the Hercs. He's had quite the adventuresome life and (I hope) is still writing. L ...more
