Fecking Jory. You gotta love him as much as you love Lucy.

“You’re a trouble magnet.”

“Yeah, but––”

“If people didn’t actually know you, they’d never believe you were real.”
Rosa, really
Whaaaat?!!

Thank you, Mary, for in your wisdom blessing us with this sweet morsel. It's almost as good as those Easter chocolates shaped like mini eggs with a sugar shell.

A sample that in no way contain spoilers:

Hannah gave me another too sweet smile, like I was adorable. I didn’t remember why I even wanted kids.

Also, Jory makes this statement: What? No. I’ve got this. Any fan of this series knows this means trouble.

(Of course, my evil critic did sneak in a few times -- but no! That asshat will

I enjoyed this ficlet way better than the bank robbery ficlet. The kids are still really cute.

This is a short featuring Jory from the "A Matter of Time" series doing what Jory does best...finding trouble where none should be.

This ficlet was delightful but I'm not even gonna pretend I'm objective. Jory is one of my favorite characters ever. Mary Calmes could write a story about him watching paint dry and I'd probably eat it up like it was manna from Heaven. I love Jory. I love Sam. I will always be about more Sam and Jory. I was in kickyfeetflail Heaven getting to read about Jory and Sam

This was just a short fun, very, very fun read that is free to read over on Mary Calmes blog.

If you are familiar with the series 'A Matter of Time' you will probably enjoy this as much as I did. If you haven't read the series and are familiar with it and thusly the awesome that is Jory, you'll think I'm nuts but I'm not...really, go read the series then read this again. You'll get it then, I promise.

I know, you've heard it before but I just LOVE Jory. I swear he could get in trouble just sitting and reading his Kindle :) And looks like his kids are going to follow in his troubling foot steps. It's amazing what kinds of trouble a set of bunny ears can get Jory in.

Recommended for a quick smile.

Cute, and it does nothing but make me miss Jory and Sam and now I want to read the whole series all over again, not like I have not read it 4 times at least :) More Jory and Sam, Please, maybe Aaron and Duncan, I miss those boys!

Cute little ficlet with Jory,Sam ,and the kids celebrating Easter.Of course it wouldn't be a Jory story without our favorite trouble magnet running into trouble and this short fiction is no different.Read and enjoy!

Ama adam haklı yani bu seferki hep Hannah'nın suçu :D

Jory is like Lucy (I Love Lucy), just say the name and I smile. He is a trip, a very good trip. Perfect delightful story. Jory is Jory, thankfully. Sam should be completely grey by now.

3.5 Stars - Funny, typical Jory Story. It kind of made me want to read book 6 to find out about the kids, but then Jory happened and I remember why I abandoned the series

This is a free Easter ficlet of Jory and Sam taking place 3 years after "But For You" (the 6th installment). Can be read through THIS LINK.

Short and sweet and mostly bizarre as only Jory can.. on a trip to find "ear bunnies" for his (now) 7 years old daughter Hannah and accompanied by his 9 years old son Kola they somehow run into 4 girls dressed like bunnies of the stripper variety who came from Ukraine for a vocation and found themselves forced into stripping, they are missing one friend who

Jory & Sam are back in this fun little ficklet… And it's free! All I've got to say is, Jory's right. It really was Hannah's fault.

This is the first book I've read by Mary Calmes and my reaction: where have I been? She is awesome.
Jory is a trouble and danger magnet just as those close to him inform him. It's partly because he can't stand to see people hurt so will always step in without thinking but also because he is a bit naive, but adorably so.
Sam is butch, beefy, not to be messed with and the more logical of the coupling. However when there's danger Sam goes in all guns blazing whereas Jory talks it out. He truly has

I think Mary Calmes is a lot like pizza to me. Even when its bad, it’s still good! This book was a cute little fic that I quite enjoyed! Sweet, short and of course featuring a favorite couple of mine. BUT. Good ‘ole Jory is at it again! Ignoring Sam and doing his own thing, letting Sam worry while Jory figures everything out for himself. I hate the phone call; ‘Jory!’ ‘I’m fine’ ‘Jory!’ ‘Sam the kids are fine, just trust me’. ‘Jory!’ ‘no worries, I got this.’ Frustrating! But I admit the kids ...more
