Island Fever by Shelli Stevens is a cute summer read. It is light hearted and romantic along with some comedy.
Melanie and Piper have come to Hawaii to scratch some things off their bucket list. They had a deal with each other. One, they would have fun. Two, they would get a great tan. Three, they would have a fling to remember. Melanie has been working on her bucket list with parasailing; zip lining, snorkeling, etc. and working on her great tan and having fun. Piper has been working on her fli

I thought this was a very sweet tale and enjoyed it very much.

After college graduation Melanie and her best friend head to Hawaii. They call this vacation "Operation Get Leid" and Melanie is not the best at the art of seduction.

When she takes a spill and twists her ankle, a sexy doctor on his residency comes to her rescue. Will this be a fling to remember or could the lines between fling and forever love be blurring?

I love a quick read occasionally and this one hit the spot! I highly recommend t

I've been to Hawaii but I didn't end up with my very own Hawaiian man. WOW, Asher is such a hottie and a sweetheart. The time he and Melanie spend together, although short, proves you can find your soul mate and recognize them in only a short time. Both Asher and Melanie knew it was more than a fling, but that horned BFF Piper made Melanie second guess what was really happening. Thank goodness Asher knew it was more.

Very sweet, short story.

~!~ It's a quick fix for any romance junkie ~!~

*insert long sigh here* I just finished reading this absolutely lovely short romance. It's almost like porn for women! Girl meets HOT doctor while on vacation and they have mind-blowing sex and fall in love.
If you are looking for an epic tale, this isn't for you. However, if you want a quick read full of hot sex and romance with an HEA ending....then this is definitely your indulgence!

I absolutely loved this book!! Such a quick but oh so satisfying read! Melanie and her girlfriend Piper go on vacation to Hawaii! They have a checklist- fun, drinks, tan, fling. Things are going along famously and almost all checked off but the fling. Where can she find a random guy to have a fling with? She only has 2 nights left on the island!! What to do what to do! You have to read it now to find out!! Such a fun and loveable story!

This story did exactly what a novella is supposed to do: introduce the reader to the author's style of writing. My chief complaint was that the story was entirely too short! I did like the insta-connection between the hero and heroine, but couldn't really get invested in them, because of the brevity of the book. I may go looking for other books by this author, because I did enjoy the writing style, but am really wishing that there was more to this book!

Great Read! Wish it was a tad bit longer only because I love the characters so I kind of wish we could have seen what Melanie's best friend thoughts would have been in the end but other than that I think this is a fun, sexy, charming read. Easy to read in one sitting. Would recommend it for sure! :D

Melanie and Piper were on vacation on Oahu. They had made a pact to have a fling while on vacation. While running on the beach Melanie fell and twisted ankle. Asher to the rescue. He checks her ankle which is now swollen so he helps her back to her room. He goes and gets ice, prepares an ice pack for her ankle. But Melanie is looking at Asher but as a fling. What will Asher think?
This was a fun, sexy, fast read about a super hot island affair. Loved both Melanie and Asher. Their romance was surprisingly believable for only knowing each other a few days.

Quite a few typos - noticeable but not enough that I wouldn't recommend.

this was another freebie so I was really looking forward to reading it as I liked the blurb, the story didn't disappoint it wad exciting, exotic and had a happy only niggle was the scenes which were a bit racy as I am not into that type of descriptive writing.

Short and sweet and as always with Shelli Stevens...STEAMY! This novella-esque book was a quick read that left my heart aching for some summer loving! Think Cocktails without the crappy behavior of Tom Cruise and some surprising twists and turns along the way. BUY THIS BOOK.. you won't be sorry!

Should have been longer.
Even a follow up chapter or a quick little epilogue would have done.

It was a quick in between book.
No angst or drama. Straight and to the point.

Didn't like her friend. She should have minded her own business.

Good but very short. I would love to have had more of these characters, except for Piper. She was a horrible friend.
Short, but still well done. The action was fast, but it felt like the emotions were real so it worked for me. Perfect little summer shortie!

This was a short, sexy read that was perfect for the hot, summers day. It made me smile and kept me engaged the whole way through. My only complaint was that I wish it had been longer!
