What a fantastic little book Green, author of about a skajillion books including Polish Your Furniture with Pantyhose: And Other Uses for Your Favorite Products, has written! Even a quick glance through will have readers looking around for the stuff with which to do these projects, like “Pick a Lock with Bobby Pins” (I failed—and ruined all my daughter’s bobby pins) and “Create a Stink Bomb with Ammonia” (add matches and let it sit for a week). There's a lot of stuff here that's just common sense and things that would probably only work under extremely optimal conditions. That being said, there are a lot of ingenious tips in here as well.
