Love, honor—and vow to keep the marriage a secret!

Years ago, Heath Langston eloped with Julianne Eden. Their parents wouldn't have approved. So when the marriage remained unconsummated, they went their separate ways without telling anyone what they'd done.

Now family turmoil forces Heath and Julianne back into the same town—into the same house. Heath has had enough of liv

I'm sorry but this book is a bit disappointing.
I just can't like Julianne. Yes, her predicament was terrible and heartbreaking, but that didn't give her the right to treat Heath the way she did. The push and pull, the hot and cold acts were getting old fast after a few pages.
Maybe I was spoiled by the other three heroines, who were pretty straightforward in dealing with their problems, even the insecure Rose and her secret baby trope.
The reasons why they can't be together were repeated every t

This was a very emotional conclusion to the Secrets of Eden series. In it, everyone has been trying to protect everyone else. Sixteen years earlier one of the transient foster boys had ended up dead. The three permanent foster boys and daughter Julianne had hidden the body and vowed never to speak of it. Then, in the first book of the series, the body turned up and the investigation was on to discover what happened, putting stress on all the members of the family.

In this book we have Heath and J

This is the final book in the Secret of Eden series. I'm sad to see this series end, I really enjoyed it. In this one we do get our answers about the body found on the Christmas Tree farm. Heath and Julianne come back home to help out with the farm. It's the first time these two have spent extended time together since their quick marriage that's been a secret for 11 years. Heath wants Julianne to finally decide to either give him his divorce or not. But Julianne is holding a secret that she ...more

We finally have hit the conclusion of the Secrets of Eden series. I'm not going to lie, but Her Secret Husband was a little rough on the emotions. So, the series has been building to the grand reveal at the end. Everyone is trying to protect one another.

We finally have arrived to last of the Eden children, Julianne Eden and Heath Langston. Boy do they have a doozy of a secret. No one knows that Heath and Julianne secretly eloped 11 years. Heath has been trying to be un

Oh my gosh I can't not believe the Secret of Eden series has come to an end. It almost makes me want to cry. But I guess all good series must come to an end at some point and time. I will say this though I will miss these Eden boys so much. I had been patiently or may more like impatiently waiting to read Her Secret Husband, ever since I finished reading Heir to Scandal. In fact I was probably most excited to read Heath's story the most.

I mean really we get to find out what the answer is to th

Her Secret Husband is Andrea Laurence’s fourth book in the Secret of Eden Series. I loved this series and loved this book. The Secret of Eden series goes out with a bang with Heath and Julianne’s story. A health crisis hits her father and Julianne comes home to face not only that but her husband Heath whom she married eleven years ago but walked away from. They’d barely seen one another since their return from Paris where they married but now with her father’s health concerns, she’s decided to ...more

Her Secret Husband by Andrea Laurence is a well written romance with the right amount of steam and emotional intimacy. The big secret is finally out and the mystery is solved at last. The build up built by the author from the first book was great and I am very happy to see how well the the last book tied up the series so well together.
Julianne is a complex character because while I sympathized with her, she also baffled me many times with her actions and reasons regarding the same. Heath is a ca

Recommends it for: yes
The final chapter in the Secrets of Eden saga did not disappoint.  Julianne and Heath's story was exceptional.  After 11 years of being married, but not living together, they come together when the family patriarch has another heart attack to help run the Garden of Eden for the Christmas holiday.  Unable to avoid each other, they finally consummate their marriage and find their love again or rather admit they have loved each other all along.  The 'secret' that has kept them apart all these years ...more

Great story to finish the series although I am saddened that this was the last of the family! This was a great journey between Heath & Julianne that was very believable and had you rooting for them the entire book! It was great to revisit old characters and get the final piece to what happened all those years ago. Fans won't be disappointed!

"Laurence does a good job wrapping up all of the loose ends involving the Secrets of Eden murder-mystery storyline with a shocking twist. The ending is especially sweet as it brings back past characters from the series" (RT Book Reviews, 4 stars).

That foster home happens to be the place where Julianne lives. When a boy Tommy comes to live at the foster home he causes trouble among the family and years later is found dead on the family property. Heath Langston came back from New York because his dad is in hospital with a heart attack. Julianne Eden came back home to the tree farm as well; she is a sculptor in Connecticut; she just broke up with her long-time boyfriend, which surprised her brothers. Heath is Julianne’s foster brother; they knew each other as children, they were best friends, and when his parents died, he went to live with the Edens. They got married secretly in Europe after their graduation, and Julianne insisted that ...more

This is the end to the Secrets of Eden series. I think that we get answers to a lot of questions that were in the other books, as well as Andrea Laurence does a great wrap up for the series in the Epilogue.

This book focuses on Heath and Julianne. Julianne was the only girl in her family and the other siblings that she has have been adopted by her parents. Heath is the youngest boy that was adopted by her parents and Julianne has had a crush on him and loved him since he came to live with them w

Her Secret Husband by Andrea Laurence took me on a dramatic journey where romance, secrets and raw but genuine emotion cement the steady flow of an interesting plot. The characters had their strengths and weaknesses. The dialogues were realistic and I enjoyed the back story. Julianne Eden is quite a character. At times I couldn’t understand how she could treat Heath the way she does at intervals. But her story, her growth as a character redeemed her actions. Heath Langston on the other hand foun

Oh gosh. What a cute read! I can say already: I am obsessed with the Eden family and need to read all the books in this series. Her Secret Husband is a whirlwind read that involves two lovers past and how they will rebuild that in their present.

I really enjoyed this one, as I do with essentially every Andrea Laurence read. Her writing style is fun and fresh - and always with a story I find completely cute. Julianne and Heath are quite the pair - both on the creative side, and when they truly get

He was in love with his foster sister?

A body? Really?!

He's Josh Lucas to her Reese Witherspoon. Only he's the one looking to get the divorce here.

Has she ever had sex with a boyfriend?

Whoa, sounds like she doesn't want a divorce at all.

Shades of Patrick Swayze.

The tree farm sounds more fun than an office job.

Foster parents should be told these things, dammit!

I received a free copy from the author in exchange for an honest review.
Excellent conclusion of the series. Well deceloped, totally mind-blowing and very emotional. The Andrea Lawrence I met from previous books is back. I fell in love with Heath and Julianne. Their past made them the way they are and give them enough strenght to overcome it. And the twist before the ending and the epilogue narrated by Molly Eden were the best of the story. 5 stars? I'd give it 10!!

Julianne was hard to like and so much of the book was repetitive with her reasons for not wanting to be with Heath, Heath's frustration, and so on. I only read the last 2 books of the series and only read this one because of the cliffhanger in the last book. The mystery was wrapped up pretty quick and overall this book was just ok for me.

When I started reading this book I didn't realize it completed a series. That being said I was able to read it as a stand alone book. I enjoyed the story of love between Julianne and Heath. A secret young love turns cold and then heats up again eleven years later. Good read.
