Throughout the series, Ari Chandler told both her partners that it's their destiny to meet The One. With each of them, she used her intuitive skills stemming from her Native American heritage to put their mates to the test. When she literally is run over by Luke McBain on a remote property, Ari recognizes him as her "The One," not knowing he's Gussie's long, lost brother. But, he's there to manage the construction of a mansion on property Ari beli

I loved this book! I could not put it down. This story is about Arielle Chandler and Luke McBain. Ari is the last of the Barefoot Brides to find love. Her grandmother was a Miwok Native American and Ari was raised with their folklore. Having never read anything to do with Native American's before, I just loved learning about their heritage. Ari is just waiting until she meets "The One". Luke is Gussie's brother, whom we met in Barefoot in Lace, and is in town to build a house for Cutter ...more

I loved this story so much!!!

I'm a huge fan of Roxanne St. Claire and count down each new release. I love her Barefoot Bay books and was so excited she extended her time in Barefoot Bay with the Barefoot Bay Brides series.

I absolutely loved Barefoot in Pearls. I knew it would take a special man to accept Arielle for who she was and I loved it was Luke McBain. First let me just say I loved that Luke calls her Arielle rather than Ari like everyone else. It made me fall pretty hard for Luke early

A part of Arielle Chandler that Grandma Good Bear told her was unique and so special. Some of her friends didn't believe her. It was a spiritual side, and the day she met Luke McBain was the morning of her Best friends wedding. It was when something fell out of the sky, and at that moment he ran right into her and knocked her over. It has to be a sign from the Universe. What was it telling her? Never ever did she feel like this before. A feeling Grandma told her about, was she right? Could it ...more

This is a romance novel with substance. The basic concept behind this novel was both enchanting and absolutely awe inspiring. The Native American history was fascinating and the romance was both sweet and difficult. It was all so real and palpable. The story was enriching, both emotionally and intellectually. This was more than just your typical romance, but the romance was definitely there in abundance. There are also some emotionally poignant moments that will leave readers breathless. The ...more

An amazing addition to the Barefoot Bay series of books. Filled with lots of old characters and introducing us to some new ones gives us hope of more books in the future set on this picturesque little island.

This is the story of Arielle Chandler and Luke McBain. She's determined to preserve what she feels is a Native American burial ground and he is just as determined to get a house built there. When she starts probing and asking questions, he has to agree there are more questions than answers.

Even before I started reading Barefoot in Pearls , I knew I was going to love Arielle Chandler, aka Ari. I enjoyed her sensibilities and the feelings she shared about other people in the earlier Barefoot Bay Brides books. Although she has been teased over the years by her fellow bridal consultants and BFFs, Willow and Gussie, about her beliefs and “woo woo,” I enjoyed the different impact the teasing had on Ari in Barefoot in Pearls when

Barefoot in Pearls by Roxanne St. Claire is a 2015 South Street Publishing release. I was provided a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

This is the third in the Barefoot Bay Brides trilogy, but can be read as a stand alone.

Karma, Fate, Destiny, call it what you will, but Arielle and Luke were meant to be. The instant Luke ran right over Ari and their eyes met, she knew... Luke was “ the one”. Don't believe in love at first sight? This story just might change your mind.

Sizzling Chemistry, Heartfelt, Suspenseful, Steamy & Always Romantic...

All of the elements we've come to expect, eagerly anticipate and love in a St. Claire novel were chocked full in this, the third in the trilogy of the Barefoot Brides. While it easily stands alone, it was a true delight to read some of our favorite characters again like Lacey & Clay Walker from the original Barefoot Series "Barefoot in The Sand", as well as the main character's two best friends, Wil

After seeing her two best friends and business partners find their HEA, Arielle (Ari) Chandler want a little happiness for herself. But Ari doesn't believe in luck, coincidence or chance meeting. She has a big belief in fate, destiny, kismet, that has been ingrained in her since she was young. Her influence also came from her native grandmother. She believes in The One. One person meant for her in every way. When Luke McBain ran into her (literally), Ari's senses exploded and she knew she

"Barefoot in Pearls" by Roxanne St. Claire is part of her 'Barefoot Bay Brides' series. This book can be read alone or better yet as part of her series. Thoroughly enjoyed reading this book, and it is a little more than just a romance story. There is mystery, greed, and yes---love too. Roxanne does it again with a solid 5 out of 5 stars.

Arielle Chandler, Ari to her friends, is unique in her own way. She is part Native American and grew up learning some of her culture from her Shamen Grandmother

Another very romantic story to end the Barefoot Bay Brides trilogy.

When Luke bumps into Arielle, she immediately understand he's the One for her, the only one in the Universe destined to be her mate for life. Luke is less sure about it but what he can't deny is his attraction to Ari. After years of being separated from his family and far from the US, Luke wants to get closer to his sister and, for that, he needs his temporary license as a general contrator to become permanent but everything is

I started this book quite warily. As much as Luke was wary regards Ari uncanny sense of perception. But then she grew on to me and I accepted her weird but not totally unrealistic sides and started to understand her way of thinking.
I liked the investigation which had a few not completely unexpected twists. The romance relied for too long on unsaid mystery but was nevertheless rather convincing.
Side note: there were 3 big blunders. First the heroine supposedly close to 30 yo like her friends giv

I liked that Ari was so strong in her beliefs, that right from the start she found her One. It seemed like the whole book she came back to that, it made for interesting reading as Luke was cynical personified. Just learning about the One seemed to freak out Luke, even as he was intrigued by all that Ari told him about Grandma Good Bear. I did think it was funny how Luke always kept getting Grandma's name wrong. You could tell he was starting to believe as the book went on as the names got nicer ...more

Barefoot in Pearls concludes the Barefoot Bay Brides Trilogy by one of my very favorite authors, Roxanne St Claire. It is another beautifully told, romantic love story for her readers to cherish.

This story involves the third wedding planner Arielle Chandler and Luke McBain, the long lost brother of her best friend. It is a love-at-first-sight story, with a little lust thrown in the mix. I think the hero and heroine have good chemistry. Arielle believes in destiny and the fact that there is only

I love Roxanne St Claire's Barefoot Bay series. Barefoot in Pearls is the 3rd book in the Barefoot Brides series and this story is about Arielle and Luke.

Arielle is the wedding designer at Barefoot Brides, a business she co-owns with her best friends Willow and Gussie. Arielle has been brought up to believe by her late grandmother, a Native American Shaman that there is one special person meant for her in the universe and that she would know when she met him. I don’t remember ever reading a book of Roxanne St. Claire that ever disappointed me. Be it the Bullet Catcher Series, the Barefoot Billionaires and now the Barefoot Brides.

The third book in the Barefoot Brides Series, “Barefoot In Pearls” is just another testament to her writing prowess – a love story steeped in emotion, passion and the trials and tribulations of falling in love, and accepting that love.

Arielle Chandler always believed that she would come across her “The One”, a belief that’s

This is the first book I read of the Barefoot Bay Brides Trilogy and I absolutely loved this book. The Native American influence in the story line really spoke to my Cherokee heritage. The author handled Arielle’s spiritual beliefs handed down from her Shaman grandmother in a lovingly expressive way. Well, this was my first Roxanne St. Claire book, but I'm not sure that it will be my last!! It was pretty good. I typically lean more toward just straight out romance, not romantic suspense, but this one was a very pleasant surprise. It was very well written, and had a rather interesting storyline. It follows Ari (Arielle) and Luke, who happen to stumble upon each other one day by chance, however Ari feels as though it was actually fate that brought them together. Arielle Chandler meets The One in this Barefoot Bay contemporary romance by Roxanne St Claire. It's an enchanting story with just a touch of suspense.

This was the final book in this series and like the others it was beautifully told. This was the romantic and suspenseful story of Arielle and Luke.

Arielle is the third and final member of the Barefoot Brides trio to find love. It is a bit different for her because she has a deep internal intuition about meeting The One. She spends this story helping us understand her beliefs and the special relationship she had with her Grandma.

Barefoot in Pearls by Roxanne St Clair

This is the third book in Barefoot Bay Brides Series by Roxanne St Clair. I loved all the other Barefoot Bay stories and was looking forward to this one and it didn’t disappoint.

The third book in St. Claire's Barefoot Bay Brides brings the story of Ari and Luke. Ari is part Native American and holds to the words her Shaman grandmother told her of finding "The One". She has been waiting for him to show up. When he does, he actually plows into her and knocks her off her feet. Luke is a military man who's had bad things happen in his past. He doesn't believe in, or even believe that he is worthy of being "The One" for Ari. Their romance seems doomed from the start. Ari ...more

She closed her eyes. “Please don’t make fun of me right now.”

…”I’m not.” Pulling her close, he kissed her cheek, his lips so soft and sweet she wanted to moan. “That’s the scary thing.”

With every new Barefoot Bay story that author Roxanne St. Claire gives us, I fall more and more in love with the people and the area. There must be something special in the air in the Florida Keys to inspire such romance. And I, for one, hope it doesn’t change anytime soon.

4.5 stars for Ari and Luke's love story to end this amazing trilogy. I liked the other two books better, but this solid book still features a great couple: warm, intuitive Ari who is determined to preserve her native American heritage, and battle-scarred Luke, a man who is just trying to start a new life in town with his sister but is destined to be "The One" for Ari. Barefoot in Pearls is the third installment in Roxanne St. Claire’s Barefoot Bride’s trilogy. The Ari, the third wedding planner, finally gets her HEA with Luke McBain, her best friend’s older brother. Though by no means full-blown romantic suspense, there is a light mystery element woven into this novel. It is fun to see St. Claire go back to some of her early mystery / suspense style. It is still definitely a Barefoot book. The friendships drive the story and make you want to sit down with a ...more
