My 8 y/o and I read this together as a part of our homeschooling day. It was to teach her more about why we celebrated Women's Equality Day.

fact: Susan B. Anthony fought for both woman's rights, temperance (drinking), and freedom of slaves.
fact: In school Susan B. Anthony and the other girls were not aloud to learn long division. She told her father, Daniel Anthony, so he opened a school where girls and boys were equal.
fact: Susan B. Anthony died March 13th 1906, but sadly Susan did not get to see that women eventually did win the right to vote. The 19th amendment in 1920 gave women the right to vote.
