And while it's not OK for someone else to make yo-momma jokes about your momma, it is perfectly healthy — even downright hilarious — to find the humor ...more

Interesting Read...

If you're expecting Erma Bombeck, forget about it. However, the stories are usually entertaining, and a couple of them had me laughing out loud. Either way, it's an educational read with many differences between styles of mothering, views on what's funny, and sensitivity between the various ethnic backgrounds.

Moms are nuts is really cool

I choose this rating because it was funny and serious. Also,I like it because it's just like regular life. Love it

This book was very inspirational. The author Connie did a great job with this book of miracles. I am a caregiver and read this book to my elderly client and she too loved this book as much as I did.

Some laugh clouds

Several of these stories brought tears of laughter to my eyes. Several others just seemed to be digs borne of unresolved resentment. Fortunately, there were more of the former.

One extraordinary story

Some of the stories made me chuckle, but only one had me gasping for air I was laughing so hard - If There Were Swans It Would Be a Lamentation by Dylan Brody. Seriously, I added a star just for it.

a few of the stories are funny and we'll written, but overall, they were poorly written, and not particularly funny. Definitely not worth the time.

very few of the stories were worth reading. in fact, I finally gave up and stopped and I never stop reading once I start, but with all the books out there, it's not worth your time

Not that funny

I thought this book would have lots of funny stories, but really they were not. I am sure others will enjoy this book, it just wasn't my style.
