As a maths teacher, I enjoyed the novelty of having a mathematically-minded heroine and a romance conducted over ciphers.

The author did a good job of highlighting the frustration the heroine feels over the senseless restrictions Regency society enforces purely due to gender. Although I love this time period, I am most grateful that I didn't live back then.

What I didn't like: Since my sympathies were fully with the heroine, I found the hero a bit too... Regency male.
