This book was a wonderful surprise for me. A gem. I had no real expectations but had enjoyed another work by the author.

I read this in one sitting and truly enjoyed everything about it! I could relate to the characters. I truly sympathized with them. I loved the strength & spirit of the main woman. I loved the guy, who had created an angst that I could understand. He was trapped in a rough situation that was made all of worse because if his own issues.

IMHO, this book was about embracing life

What an amazingly heartfelt story! I am a romantic at heart and believe love conquers all.
The setting and characters were believable but the overall execution of the story could have used a little help. As in the flow of things. But to be honest this is the first short story I've read in probably 20 years so it could be the comparison I'm making to the average full length book. I truly enjoyed the story and loved the ending!!!
