Excellent Short Story

I enjoyed the story of Max and Manny. The combination of action and emotion made for a nice balance overall.

Kindle freebie. A heart-wrenching story about a dog and a cop. I love dog stories - hate hearing about dog injury or abuse, which almost always seems to be a feature of dog stories for some reason. Novelette.
