Interesante recopilación de ensayos sobre arte y literatura extraños, 16 en total, a cargo del escritor y traductor Javier Calvo y publicados antes de manera dispersa en revistas, web o incluso prólogos. Reconozco que las antologías de no-ficción son una de mis debilidades, y aquí muchos de los temas son muy de mi agrado. Si hi ha una cosa que m'impressiona de Javier Calvo és la seva voracitat lectora i l'abast dels coneixements d'un cert tipus de cultura marginal (weird, new weird o com li vulguis dir). A El Sueño y el Mito hi ha una bona mostra de tot això. Col·lecció de pròlegs i articles sobre el material que composa les seves dèries, transmet la passió per aquesta foscor i serveix com a guia introductòria a aquests móns ocults, a la vegada.
