I've really enjoyed all of Kanuckel's books thus far and Quatro was no exception.

While Small Matters was a more loosely gathered collection that could be enjoyed for each of the stories and their moods in turn, Quatro is a collection with a solid connection between the stories that bonds each of them together. This book is about the little moments that can come to define a person, the moments that are burned into the spirit.

Short stories are not often pleasant to read, they usually are filled with dark undertones and uneasy moments - but definitely not these.
I was again drawn into another world as Mr. Kanuckel worked his literary magic. He is like a magician with words - his descriptions spot-on; never overused nor overdone, always just right.
