I enjoyed this story. It was a bit of a keystone cops routine but with a grown-up air about it all. Amos McGuffin's ex-wife and daughter are missing. So is a Faberge egg worth millions. And then there are the crazy killer recently released from the prison hospital, his old German lover, some actors, a barkeep and a cop friend. The story works out in the end...or does it? There are 6 dead bodies for McGuffin to account for, and he is off to NYC.
