Every chapter of The Wallflower resembles the others. The boys are pretty and try to turn Sunako into a lady, Sunako is creepy and stubborn, and trouble follows them all. Sunako and/or the boys surprise and impress one another with an unexpected display of kindness, strength, or sense of camaraderie.
While nothing ever seems to change from book to book, I still love this series--probably more than it deserves. I love that Sunako is creepy and stubborn and unexpectedly kind. I lo...more
