This book is all I have ever seen of her work. Right up front: I love her work. Most of the stuff after the 60's anyway. Then she is always different. Always good. I never seem to tire of her painting. Her flowers, for example, are so crude as to be unrecognizable, like they are painted with a stick, yet obviously that's not important. Somethin' else is going on. My guess is she was influenced by WWII, the bombings of Japan especially, seem to be expressed in the dissolution of her european buil...more
