This is a children's classic that I somehow managed to miss all these years. I was never a horse obsessed little girl. And if the truth be told I'm a little scared of them. But all that aside this is a really wonderful story.

awesome book! another version of the beauty and the beast
My review on Black Beauty is awsome it was really sad at the end i didn't get a life lesson but i taught me not to treat my pets badly.

Heart warming and derpressing... I love stories with a good happy ending. A truthful tlae of life's most cruel and lovable features.
I loved this book, the whole series. My mom read them to us and I hope to do the same with any kids I might have in the future.
It's Black Beauty, it's Robin McKinley, it's one of my most-beloved books from childhood. What's not to love?

How I loved this book! I read it so many times when I was little and this single book might be respons
when i was little i loved horses. my uncle gave me this book about a horse. it was m fav growing up!

I read a lot of this but did not get time to finish
If you didn't cry from this book then you're a jerk
Heartbreaking, sad, funny, and exciting!
This was and will always be one of my favorites.
