The theme will appeal to parents and children. Missing mittens suddenly appear. Grandma receives mittens from Mrs. Brown, the postman, the garbage collector, the milkman, the grocer, the delivery truck driver, and others.
Then the mittens are posted online (opps -- clothespinned onto a clothesline), to be reclaimed by everyone under the sun.
Young readers can have fun counting the mittens.

Another favorite from childhood days at my grandparents.

Not sure where we got this...could it possibly have been one of Brian's books as a child? Possibly. Twin brothers have red mittens and lose one. As word spreads, there house is quickly filled with returned red mittens until they create a Lost mitten close-line in their backyard. Sweet and simple...now if I could just get Aidan's school to create such a closeline as well!
