Wow! Where to start describing this amazing journey through what Jünger calls Approaches? This book is a personal recollection of his experiments with various illicit drugs, from hashish and ether to LSD and hallucinogenics. It is highly intellectual for the most part, references to classical literature and philosophy abound but is mixed with recollections and memories of his youth and his experimentations.
