Shelves: dutch, music-related
Excellent, thoughourly enjoyed this book. Not only the musical bits and bobs, but also the philosophical questions she askes herself, and us in a way.
And once again not badly written at all! She really seems like a multi-talent... (ok maybe I should stop kissing her @$$ now...)

You can really fill an evening with her.. Either watch one of her concertos, listen to her cd's or snuggle up with a book of hers...

I certainly did like some of the thoughts Grimaud expressed in her book, but I didn't like the bombastic style of her writings. The accounts of her conversations with the people she met on her journey didn't sound authentic to me: no one talks in that way. Or is it that the Dutch translation was that bad? The really beautiful parts of the book are the ones in which she tells about her wolves: there we find real authentic passion!
