The first part was awesome, the second part was interesting, but not like the previous one.
one of my favourite books
A fascinating story about a genius surgeon who loses his memory and ends up wandering the Polish countryside, later taking up the role of a village healer. Dragged too much at the end though.
I read this book several times and every time I liked it more.
Takich książek i bohaterów brakuje mi w polskiej literaturze. Książka wzrusza mimo, że ma już 70 lat. Dołęga - Mostowicz chyba czuł, czego chcieliby czytelnicy.
First part - very interesting book, with a lot of unexpected turns of the storyline :)
Second part ... pending :)
Don't have stars enough for it...

Tadeusz Dołęga-Mostowicz was a Polish journalist and author of over a dozen popular novels. The best known, which in Poland became a byword for fortuitous careerism, was The Career of Nicodemus Dyzma. It is claimed by some that the book subsequently inspired the 1971 novel Being There by Jerzy Kosiński.

Tadeusz Mostowicz was born August 10, 1898, at his family's village of Okuniewo, near Vitebsk in

“-Nu voi pleca. Raman. Ce vrei? Te-am indragit. Te-am indragit pentru ca esti prost, imaparate.
Wilczur zambi.
-Prost... repeta.
-Da.
Am s-o gasesc si in ultima inghititura voi afla adevarul...”
