Vivid photos, and SUPER short for a quick toddler read. It's also really repetitive, which has made it easy for my two-year-old to memorize. She and likes to "read" it back to me.

This whole series is similar and very cute.

I love all of the "Busy" animals books that I have seen thus far, except this one. I couldn't stand the use of "Horsies." This may seem absurd, but it just seemed too babyish.

Busy Horsies (2007) is one of photographer John Schindel's busy animal series of board books. It is the seventh book in a nine book series.

Each full color photograph of a mare and her foal doing something includes a short description like "horsies strolling" (page 8). The book is a collaboration with Casi Lark who owns Spanish Mustangs.

I read this book with Harriet. We enjoyed the gorgeous photography of the horses.

You used to like the horsie strolling--horsie rolling pair, since I. would roll backwards with you in her lap at the rolling part.

Great pics of horses doing things you don't see a lot like swimming & laying down.
