YO SOY LATINA ! is a funny and very moving ensemble play that challenges a group of diverse Latina women to examine their identity and their connections in the contemporary American landscape. The play’s premise unites these women who come to share their individual anecdotes of living Latina in contemporary America . There’s Migdalia, a Nuyorican, who experiences prejudice from her own family because of her interracial marriage; Jennifer, a young Mexican-American college student who’s discovered
Absolutely, hands-down a must read for Latinas of all ages. I gave a copy to a co-worker who has a 10 year daughter that was going thru an identity crisis being Boriqua and attending a predominently white school and he said she feel in love with it. That's all I needed to hear to know Linda touched yet another person through her words.

Her play is also highly recommended.
