...more

I like this book, because is a really interesting history, and it can happen in a real situation. The man took his motorcycle and was about to enjoy the journey to reach their destination, as time did not need, I was enjoying all the way until I was a very quiet street with little traffic he crossed an old lady and could not be stopped, fell unconscious to the ground from the blow that had been given, when turned on if he felt pains in different parts of the body, your best news at the time was ...more
This is a published short story and one of my absolute favorites by Cortazar. If you don't read Spanish, then find a translation and give it a go. Alternate realities, Aztec sacrifices, and questioning what is real and what is dream all make this a masterfully written tale packed into just a few short pages.
This is actually a short story but one the impacts's a very memorable story. I suppose you can say that this story tells of a man who is in a motorcycle wreck and while in the hospital dreams of being in the jungle during the time of the Aztec.

I really like how it takes the reader back and forth and how what the reader thinks is reality turns out being the dream in "La noche boca arriba". Beautifully written!

This story is one of my all-time favorites and most inspiring. If you have read it, let's talk about it!

Maravilloso.
