It is a really good introduction to the main ideas and concepts surrounding the five big names of Romanticism, but some previous knowledge is still required. The book expects you to already know the basics about both the poets and the period itself. It's an enjoyable read, the language is easy and the author is sarcastic and sassy at times (as most literary critics usually are, at least a little bit :) )

On the theoretical side, it's a bit dated (understandable once you look at the date of public
