I really enjoyed this book. The banter between the two cousins is very fun and since I live in the Spokane area, it was fun to see the small details the authors chose to include from the area, only placing it in a different time period. Their historical research was well done and the book has a few twists and turns that I enjoyed unraveling as well.

This book was much more than a cozy mystery! I enjoyed reading the letters that were exchanged by the two cousins one in the United States and the other in England leading up to, during and just after the Second World War. A glimpse into the personal and professional lives of both of these women is told beautifully through the well written correspondence.
