Jim's book, "Connect with your Kids" was a great read. I actually read the entire book in one sitting and marked up so many pages grabbing great thoughts and quotes when it comes to my relationship to my children. Being a friend of Bro. Jim, I've seen the relationship he has with his adult children and there's no doubt that he's got the parenting experience and success to back up everything he says in this book. It's definitely worth the read!

I liked how it was a short read and loved all examples Jim have of ways he connected with his own daughters. Great read for any parent.

Recommends it for: Any Parent
I love reading Jim Wideman because he writes like you are having a sit down conversation. He gives you very practical advice and examples of how he has put it to practice in his own life.

His daughters are grown now, and I have met one, so I know that his advice works. I highly recommend this book to parents wanting to raise their children to have a close relationship with their parents.
