This book is for people who want to play games figuring out just how contrived this plot can really get. The characters were bland cutouts that were likely taken directly from cheap teen horror movies, the setting was entirely irrelevant, and the author clearly used spellcheck rather than a copy editor. The ending had a touch of interest, but the lead up to it was so contrived that it

I had a hard time writing my review for Feathers in the Dark. I was at a loss of how to describe what I felt while reading this book. So many emotions coursed through me as I got deeper and deeper into the book. It disturbed yet, intrigued me. I couldn’t stop reading, even when I could barely keep my eyes open, I just had to know what was going to happen next.

I felt like I was there in the middle of it all with Corey, Phil, Kimberly, Dexter, Larry, and Ellen, my heart beating rapidly as I waited

I was sent this book for review and found it a good read because it had all the right ingredients for a puzzling somewhat psychological thriller.

I did think some of the sentence structured were 'off' now and again but I still enjoyed it, especially that sense of something otherworldly.

A good story for those who like crime novels with added extras.
