Asher of the Angelmen, the 2nd book in the Angelmen paraquel, will breed some familiarity for those who have read Amity of the Angelmen, the 1st in the series. In Asher we meet Jeremiah, the angel assigned to Asher to reveal who Asher really is and give him his mission. In Amity this job was assigned to the angel Armand. I accidentally read this one first. It’s my favorite. Slonaker does an excellent job of growing Asher, and as he grew, I grew more to liking him. The dialogue is very good in this one, also. I couldn’t put the book down.

I received this book from the author in exchange for a fair and honest review.

Great book! Not as good as the first, but still wonderful.

Full review coming soon on my blog and on Goodreads.

A former elementary school teacher and subsequent lover of the English language in the written word, Tracy Slonaker found several new hobbies after embarking on the new career of motherhood. One hobby was running distances, which gave her plenty of time to create characters, build plots, and listen for God’s input. The result of all this thinking was the birth of a new hobby: writing the Angelmen ...more
