amazingly I only knew this woman as the president's wife, but this book unleashed some things she did before she met the president; her self-esteem was quite low since a child because she felt she was 'ugly' but did not stop her from being someone to help others disadvantaged or not privileged; and great things she did after her husband's death. She stuck with her husband even after his affair and wanted to divorce her but could not because of image.
