A fabulous book that helps all people to improve their brain health and to minimize their risks for memory and cognition problems as they age. Linda Stoler and Gretchen Espinetti have come together to share their expertise with readers on how the reader can utilize what they call the Multi-Modal Method (MMM) to enhance their brain function by using music, movement, manual motion, such as sign language, and mindful meditation. Between the two authors, they have a wealth of knowledge as to how to ...more

I found this book to be very informative. I do not normally gravitate to self-help books, but found this to be a combination of text book/self-help that was surprisingly easy to read. There were some suggestions for simple practices and exercises that would be easy to follow in everyday life.

This book is recommended for seniors over the age of 50; although I am not in that age group, I learned a lot from it. The author provides lots of vital information about the different parts of the human brain. She goes over the importance of physical and mental well-being. I would recommend this book to not only seniors, but younger readers as well. There is a lot to learn from it.

I received a free copy of the book in exchange for an honest review.
