Opened my eyes to just how many types of paradox there are. I have come across a few of these before, but they are all explained? in a clearer way than I have come across before, and with lots of humourous touches. Thought provoking, yes. Mind boggling, yes. These will change the way you think about things, philosophically as well as logically. The excellent detailed Index of Philosophers and References at the back gives many more avenues to explore.

Although the some of the paradoxes were really good there was some that just were too confusing or they just didn't explain them so you still didn't understand them you just had to take their word for it.

If you look at the ratings I give, here on Goodreads, you might think that I'm very easy to please, since many of them are five-star. But that's because I tend mostly to rate books I love and admire, rather than just anything that comes my way.
I love classic literature, particularly classic British literature, especially Jane Austen, Charles Dickens and Anthony Trollope.
As a writer, I'm influenced
