This is the second book in the Chadwell Heart's series. While it is not necessary to read book one, it certainly helps. There is some overlap in the series and things will make more sense if you start from the beginning.
Lexi is a young woman who may be small, but she is full of fire. She is set to testify against a very bad man, and that puts her in danger. Lexi has been working on the ranch tending horses but she is off the get a degree and college is her opportunity to start a new life for he...more
No One’s Hero is the sequel to No One’s Angel, but the focus this time is on Lexi Feron and Kevin Morrison. I really liked No One’s Angel so when I was given the chance to read No One’s Hero early, I took it and I’m glad I did. I loved No One’s Hero! From the first page I was hooked and pretty much read it all in one day.
We first meet Lexi and Kevin in No One’s Angel, and honestly, it had been such a long time since I read that book that I couldn’t remember who they were (plus my bad ...more

~~ 4.5 Stars ~~
No One's Hero is the second book in the Chadwell Hearts Series. This was a quick read, but an enjoyable one. I will say that I think I liked No One's Angel a little better, but this was still a great book. This wasn't the typical NA college story that are out there. I loved that the hero wasn't a player and the girl wasn't a young naive girl. Don't ...more
4 Lexi Stars
No One’s Hero is the second book of the Chadwell series and focuses on Lexi and Kevin after the fallout of Angel’s ex in No One’s Angel. This book can be read as standalone but I highly suggest that you read No One’s Angel in order to get a better understanding why Kevin is needed to protect Lexi.

Okay, I took longer than I should to get back to this and why? Why did I do that? I'm kicking myself for putting it on the back burner. Out of
both books so far in the series, this is by far my favorite. I loved it.
Why not a 5 star? It would have been but something in the twist didn't pan out for me in a believable way. Otherwise, it was exactly what I wanted in a story.
Before reading this book, it's imperative, that y ...more
P.S. Kelly, I'm thinking book three centers around Warren? And a girl who shall remain nameless to avoid giving any spoilers away. This is just a hunch of course. Awesome job by the way.
I loved No One's Hero so much that I hope Kelly didn't grow tired of me fangirling on her over the internet. But seriously, she's one of the most awesome authors ever!
No One's Hero covers the story of Kevin and Lexi. Based on what I still remember (Well, it's been a long time since I read No One's Angel so forgive me LOL) Lexi is one of the witnesses against Angel's ex-boyfriend, Nick. Nick's men are in search for Lexi while he's in jail so Lexi really ...more
Lexi is escaping the pressure from home and going to college hours away, but her plan doesn't go like she wanted it to and she finds herself accompanied by Kevin, her bodyguard hired by Axel to keep her saf ...more
OMG I loved it, favorite line of the whole book "lexi-confetti" sorry had to put that in my review somewhere and really couldn't find a place.
No One's Hero is the 2nd book in the Chadwell Hearts series and if you haven't read No One's Angel you could probably still read this book, but it wouldn't be the same. My favorite characters from No One's Angel appear in this book but there is a enough back story (without completely retelling ...more
I have to say that while I did enjoy this story I had absolutely no connection with the heroine. We are introduced to her in a unique way. In the previous story, Axel and Angel, Angel had been stalked and her friend had been beaten so Axel hires Kevin to protect Lexi while she goes to college until the stalker case goes to court.
Lexi, of course, throws a tantrum about not needing a bodyguard, etc. then comes around. I do have to say she was intelligent but she had her TSTL mo ...more
Axel, a very wealthy man and her surrogate big brother decides she needs a bodyguard since she will be testifying in court against a drug cartel. Lexi is not amused and Kevin has his work cut out for him. Lexi goes out of her way not to cooperate. She soon discovers that being accepted into school is different from being accepted at school and i ...more
Lexi is off to college to hopefully find the freedom she has been craving. She hasn't taken into consideration the ex military oh so hot bodyguard, Kevin, who has been assigned to protect her. I'm not gonna give any of the storyline away as you really shoul ...more
I was somewhat torn between giving it either 3 or 4 stars, but felt that the "I liked it" rating suited more to my feelings of the novel. I enjoyed reading this story in the series, but not as much as the first one. That being said, let's dive deep into the review.
*Side note: If you just want to know whether or not you should read this book, skip to the 2nd to last paragraph.
As you know from the synopsis, Lexi is our lead female ...more
Lexi was an okay character although she did make some decisions that weren’t in her best interests, and didn’t seem to consider that she might be in real danger.
The storyline in this was Lexi going to college, and having to take her new bodyguard Kevin with her because Axel (from book 1) was worried about her. We then got quite a slow attraction happening, which then built up to a very fast progression in the hea ...more
4 This book wont squeeze into a category stars!!!
We all, as readers, have a genre of book we are drawn to, for the specific qualities we know to expect in that book. However, either because of or maybe in spite of the things that endear us, an essence of predictability starts to happen. Let me just say, that "No One's Hero" is in no way predictable. It may be classified as New Adult, and has some of that ang ...more

Wow, I knew that Kevin was going to be a tortured soul and be a great character, I just didn't know how much I would actually love him until this book! Kevin is every woman's dream! Strong, sexy and very protective. Great instincts and tactical skills make him to perfect protector and his kind, caring and strong need to protect what is his makes him just about the perfect guy!
After everything that happened with Nick and Tessa (Angel ...more
But not only does she write great dudes, she writes pretty great women. They’re not always considered the strongest women, but they strive for something better. I shouldn’t compare Angel to Lexi because they’re 2 very different people. While Angel was more of a guarded soul, Lexi is less ...more
Now don't fret, Axel and Angel still make an appearance in No One's Hero. The story however, is Lexi and Kevin's. We did meet both characters in No One's Angel, but now we really get to know them.

Lexi is finally getting her chance to get out from her sister's shadow and live a little. Until she goes to say goodbye to Axel and Angel. They seem to think she needs a bodyguard while at college. Lexi doesn't think so. Especially not the hottest guy she's ever seen.
Kevin agrees with Axel about the threat the endangers Tess and Lexi's lives. Now if Lexi would just agree to Axel's agreement. With what he offers, ...more

When I received the copy of this book, I didn't realize it was second in a series. I haven't read the first book, but you don't need to in order to follow this one. There are characters that cross over but the story stands alone. With that being said, I plan on going back and reading book 1 because I enjoyed this one so much.
